Sparkles Challenge #93 - Embossing (Heat or Dry)

The Sparkles Monthly Challenge is to use embossing (heat or dry).  I chose to use an embossing folder to create a dry embossed background.  The colorful center was created by masking the sides of the panel and inking with distress inks and rubbing the inked area using Perfect Pearls powder.  The panel was then embossed with the folder.  The die cut hello is from Cheery Lynn Designs Bohemian Words dies.  The butterfly is punched from a Martha Stewart punch.

We hope you'll share your embossed creations with us at The Sparkles Monthly Challenge found HERE.

The Outlawz Paper A La Mode Challenge - use acetate!

The Paper A La Mode challenge is to use acetate!

The challenge sponsor is The Cutting Cafe.

This is my first time to use something offered by The Cutting Cafe.  Since I'm electronically challenged, I used the PDF version of the jar shaker image and fussy cut it out to create a shaker jar!

We hope you'll share your cards and/or projects that you used acetate as part of your creation.
